Member Shout-Out Snapshot. I'm so proud!

As I sat down to create this full moon news splash, I was thinking who and what to feature. It's too hard to select. I want to take a moment and say how proud I am of the Ocean Nomads Members and community. Of the way you keep choosing the life you know is possible for you. We're still small. But wow what a journeys we're all ON! ON is still there because of you! And because we believe in you. And in the ecosystem we're building here to support each other on our big wild blue dreams and missions.

Here’s just a glimpse of what some members are up to:

(and this is just from the top of my mind)

• We have Menno who just bought a big expedition vessel (volunteers welcome!) and is now renovating and getting ready for some serious adventures.
• After 3 years of refitting Thomas is soon sailing off to the Arctic. He's gonna need crew. Come meet him at the next new moon meet-up!
• Lots of creatives making beautiful things like Lovisa who's mermaid design is now on the flag on Holland's busiest beach.
• ​Sigrid who is making the most beautiful pottery with her ​Atelier La Lou​​
• ​Nadiem who just delivered a keynote to 400 people!
• ​Anja and Hakan who after exploring West Africa by sail (See the pictures here, thanks for sharing Anja!) now sailed across and dropped anchor in the Caribbean.
• ​Sophie who is bringing her documentary Patterns of Life to the cinemas! And drives around with the biggest and coolest Ocean Nomads sticker :)
• ​Valeska who goes full ON becoming a surf pro and mountain leader.
• ​Cay who had to navigate some rough seas and is setting up something beautiful in St. Thomas. Always ambassadoring for ON on the world wild web
• ​Paula who started from zero and now just took her Patron de Yate exam! Paula Capitana!
• ​Jonatan who's going all in on to become a sailboat captain.
• ​Dom who designed and built a boat!
• ​Blair down under welcoming fellow Ocean Nomads to sail Tasmania with him​
• ​Dan who is continuing his mission to inspire many others through his adventures and performing, after a very impactful life change.
• ​Annah who is full ON exploring on her vessel in New Zealand.
• ​kyra who pulls it off to host a little ocean nomads gathering in Switzerland, 1000 Miles from the sea. Amazing Patricia & Dorothee showed up and you all got to meet!
• ​Lærke just showed the now famous docu Women & the Wind at her homebase! If you haven't seen the film yet, go watch it!
• ​Simon who is going to hitchhike across the Atlantic, again. Who needs super crew? (Cuba - Atlantic - Europe)
• ​Andy & Jessica are prepping their boat to sail west from Grenada.
• ​koen, who just drove to the Western Sahara to train for kitesurfing across the Atlantic
• ​Julie getting ready and offering full ON support for our next big Atlantic ocean expedition
• ​Eoin , Luca and Aldo who are sailing the wild southern seas.
• ​Luca who created something very cool to support the group dynamics and vibes on board (Stay tuned!)
• Tania & Wolfgang who are back on their boat in the Canaries and welcoming fellow Ocean Nomads.
• And of course freshly (and salty) back from the Canarian big blue after taking a big step to jump on board with us: Phoebe Maciej Jakobus ​Patrick Skippered by Thomas & Co-skippered Jonatan

• And we cheer all of you who are just quietly living with nature somewhere getting their bearings.

This is just a snippet from what I've recently heard and seen in 'the vineyard,' You don't see much of this online. Because most of us are just busy living and building, and not scrolling our lives away on the socials.

All of the above doesn't happen overnight. There are many steps to take to reach a certain milestone. That's also why I'm so damn proud! Ocean Nomads are taking the steps. And I'm proud to say that as a community, we've been with many of them along many of those steps supporting with a connection, idea, tip, trip, promo, or just a listening ear to realize you're not alone. So you keep bringing your full potential to life!

Know your big dreams are normal here ;)

Ocean Nomads is set up to get you connected to the big blue, each other, realize your mission and dreams, and help each other in the process.
