I have finally realized my dream to sail on a women only boat and I can tell you it’s the best sailing I have ever done. We are three women 60 plus. All sailors most of our lives. Sarah who owns Polykandros, a very comfortable 46’ Bavaria is probably the best boat handler I have met. And her navigation skills are excellent. I am learning alot fr...

Sail & Yoga
Morning light on the water. A yoga session that quiets your mind before the sails go up. The balance between moving inward, breath, body, stillness, and opening outward to wind, water, and a crew of people you’re getting to know. This trip lives in the space between those two things.
Ocean Nomads is much more than just sailing trips. Besides the great adventures they organize, the network itself is really strong. As skipper of the sailing vessel Windfall I’ve met some amazing crew through Ocean Nomads, like minded people with a focus on healthy living and a real awareness for nature. Easy going, motivated and just a really good fit for life at sea.
It didn’t just help me find crew, but also brought me new friends along the way. Definetly recommend if you’re looking for adventure and the right people to share it with." - Thomas (SV Windfall)

ON Member Bulletin My Lil' Trip Hello There! June is here, and for many of us that means summer is just around the corner. I've always loved this time of year—the longer days seem to make it easier to say yes to getting outside, trying something new, and spending time with good people or on solo adventures. My summer started with a wonderful trip through the countryside and mountains of northern Spain and France. It was a much-needed chance to slow down, unplug a bit, and enjoy being...
