I'm writing this from my van by the ocean. The wind is shaking it a bit. Feels like being on a boat again.

And it made me think of something I see all the time.

Most people who dream about sailing never actually get on a boat. Not because they don't want it. They just don't know where to start.

You're on this list because we crossed paths somewhere. Maybe sailing is still on your mind. Or just that feeling of wanting a life lived differently, with nature. Or maybe you're living it and looking to meet more of 'us', sharing healthy & eco vibes and values.

I remember sitting on land, looking at boats, wondering how to reach that unknown world. No idea who to talk to. No idea how to get into it, and what to be mindful of.

A decade later I sailed about 50.000 Nautical Miles, 5 Atlantic crossings, across 30 countries on 100+ boats, as crew, captain and expedition organizer. How wild it that, isn't it? And it has been so impactful that I now do what I do: connecting you to the big blue! And each other. And it has been working.

Nadiem started with zero experience and months later he sailed his own boat. Julie joined a trip and now works on that vessel. Simon had never sailed before and crossed from Tenerife to Guatemala.

It starts with believing this can also be your path! And then taking action towards it. That action is what Zero to Ocean Nomad is created for.

The season is starting. Boats in the community are already looking for summer and beyond. Atlantic crossings are being planned for.
